A 10-BORE PERCUSSION SINGLE BARREL SPORTING GUN BY BAKER, CIRCA 1850, no visible serial number, with 33 in rebrowned two stage octagonal to round barrel, top flat engraved 'LONDON' (faint), the fixed breech with a long tang, engraved with leafed foliage decoration, back-action lock with attractive leafed border decoration. the makers name 'BAKER', to centre and surrounded by foliate engraving with a gamebird, iron mounted walnut half stock with sharply chequered wrist, white metal nose-cap, top edges of fore-end have been lowered.
